# PinkSlips vs NGN Auto

The clearest difference is monetization model: PinkSlips at free against NGN Auto's freemium. PinkSlips also leads on ratings volume (86 vs 6). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PinkSlips sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.00 per month and NGN Auto sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for PinkSlips against 5.0 for NGN Auto. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PinkSlips has 86 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 98% of PinkSlips's written reviews are positive against 100% of NGN Auto's.

PinkSlips ships an update every 2 weeks, NGN Auto every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
