# AresScan+ vs Returnest

The clearest difference is update cadence: AresScan+ at every 4 days against Returnest's every 9 days. Returnest's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

AresScan+ ships an update every 4 days, Returnest every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
