# ViralSaver vs ExtractoKit

The clearest difference is monetization model: ExtractoKit at free with in-app purchases against ViralSaver's subscription. ExtractoKit also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). ViralSaver's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 weeks). On price, rating, ratings volume and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ViralSaver sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and ExtractoKit sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for ViralSaver against 5.0 for ExtractoKit. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively.

ViralSaver ships an update weekly, ExtractoKit every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
