# SagaNova vs Plotwist

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SagaNova at 100% against Plotwist's 38%. SagaNova also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.3) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Plotwist's advantage is ratings volume (13 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SagaNova sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and Plotwist sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SagaNova holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Plotwist has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of SagaNova's written reviews are positive against 38% of Plotwist's.

SagaNova ships an update every 10 days, Plotwist every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
