# Hand Control vs Cheat Codes

The clearest difference is rating: Cheat Codes at 5.0 against Hand Control's 4.5. Cheat Codes also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Hand Control's advantage is ratings volume (719 vs 1) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hand Control sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and Cheat Codes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Cheat Codes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hand Control has 719 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Hand Control ships an update fortnightly, Cheat Codes every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
