# S vs SpendGrid

The clearest difference is ads: S at none against SpendGrid's shown. SpendGrid's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (18.6 vs 26). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. S sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SpendGrid sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

S ships an update every 2 weeks, SpendGrid every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
