PlayPiano listens while you play and gives you feedback on every note: right, early, late or missed, on a score engraved like a printed edition. Works with an acoustic piano through the microphone, or any USB or Bluetooth MIDI keyboard. AN AI PRACTICE PLAN FOR ANY PIECE Give the coach a piece and it reads every bar, then writes a plan the way a teacher would: warm ups from the piece's own rhythms, basics in its key, then short passages in order, each slow first and up to tempo. You finish every passage by playing it as written. Part of Maestro. KNOW EXACTLY WHAT TO FIX Choose Grade for one scored run. The report names your weakest part and the bars that lost the most, and one tap loops them. It scores what a teacher listens for: right notes, timing, note lengths, loud and soft, chords played together, evenness and pedal. A microphone cannot hear dynamics or pedal, so those need a MIDI keyboard. THE MUSIC WAITS FOR YOU Wait for me holds the score until you find the key. Switch one hand off and the app plays it for you. Loop any passage and slow it down. With Maestro, Take it up raises the tempo after a clean pass. START FREE WITH FIRST NOTES A course from middle C to both hands. Short lessons of every kind, each passed by playing, not by watching. GAMES THAT GROW WITH YOU Short rounds for rhythm, ear, reading and hands, hosted by Tock, Swell, Note and Hold. Each game climbs a level at a time. CLASSICAL PIECES TO GROW INTO The Music Room holds classical pieces from Baroque to ragtime, each engraved and ready to practice, with its story and the composer's path. Ten are open to everyone. READ YOUR SCORE LIKE PAPER The score reader turns pages with a tap or a page turner pedal, shows the music at a size you can read, jumps to any page, and plays from the one in front of you. YOUR OWN MUSIC Import MusicXML or MIDI from Files, or share a file to PlayPiano from any app. Your score files stay on your device. A METRONOME FOR THE MUSIC STAND Time signatures from 2/4 to 12/8, subdivisions, swing, a tempo trainer and silent bars to test your pulse. YOUR WEEK ON YOUR HOME SCREEN Widgets show your next step, your practice days this week and a note to name. FREE AND MAESTRO Free: First Notes, every game, the metronome, your own music and ten pieces in the Music Room. Maestro, a subscription, adds the whole Music Room, the full report, the score reader and PDFs, the AI practice coach and every practice tool.
