# Contour vs RecompTrack

The clearest difference is ads: Contour at none against RecompTrack's shown. RecompTrack's advantage is iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Contour sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and RecompTrack sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 8, 2026 and September 9, 2026 respectively.
