# Converso vs Alma

The clearest difference is ads: Alma at none against Converso's shown. Converso's advantage is update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 weeks) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Converso sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $4.99 per month and Alma sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Converso ships an update every 2 days, Alma every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
