# Kurun vs PinNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: PinNote at every 2 days against Kurun's fortnightly. PinNote also leads on review sentiment (95% vs 80%). Kurun's advantage is iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kurun sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and PinNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Kurun ships an update fortnightly, PinNote every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
