# Novvler vs SFD

The clearest difference is update cadence: SFD at every 8 days against Novvler's every 3 months. SFD also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Novvler sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per month and SFD sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Novvler ships an update every 3 months, SFD every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
