# Lock Screen Notes vs DailyWall

The clearest difference is rating: Lock Screen Notes at 5.0 against DailyWall's 4.6. DailyWall's advantage is update cadence (daily vs weekly) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lock Screen Notes sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and DailyWall sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lock Screen Notes holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DailyWall has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lock Screen Notes ships an update weekly, DailyWall daily. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
