# Fluo vs Chess with Pip

The clearest difference is monetization model: Chess with Pip at free against Fluo's freemium. Fluo's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fluo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Chess with Pip sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Fluo against 5.0 for Chess with Pip. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 1 respectively.
