# Circuit Timer vs Interval Timer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Interval Timer at fortnightly against Circuit Timer's monthly. Interval Timer also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Circuit Timer sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and Interval Timer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Circuit Timer ships an update monthly, Interval Timer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
