# Shift Helper vs HomeStretch Countdown

The clearest difference is update cadence: HomeStretch Countdown at daily against Shift Helper's fortnightly. Shift Helper's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shift Helper sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and HomeStretch Countdown sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Shift Helper ships an update fortnightly, HomeStretch Countdown daily. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 26, 2026 respectively.
