# Shedtracks vs Backbeat

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Backbeat at none against Shedtracks's 4. Backbeat also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Shedtracks's advantage is ratings volume (16 vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shedtracks sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $10.99 per month. Backbeat asks for nothing beyond the download.

Backbeat holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shedtracks has 16 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
