# Lucent Journaling vs BrightPath Journal

The clearest difference is device support: Lucent Journaling at 3 against BrightPath Journal's 1. Lucent Journaling also leads on iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lucent Journaling sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and BrightPath Journal sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
