# BikeSignal vs UNCHAINED

The clearest difference is monetization model: UNCHAINED at free with in-app purchases against BikeSignal's subscription. BikeSignal's advantage is update cadence (daily vs every 6 days). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BikeSignal sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and UNCHAINED sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BikeSignal ships an update daily, UNCHAINED every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
