# Whalescribe vs Elevra.AI

The clearest difference is update cadence: Elevra.AI at every 6 days against Whalescribe's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Whalescribe sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and Elevra.AI sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
