Home cooking, convenience store food and restaurant chains are all covered, with over 30,000 foods in the database. No account needed. Note: the app interface is in Japanese. ■ Ways to log - Photo scan: take a photo and log it (10 free scans, unlimited with CalLog Pro, up to 5 photos at once) - Quick entry: type a name and calories - Food database: 30,000+ foods, works offline - Barcode: scan packaged foods (free) - My Meals: log your usual meals in one tap - Text and voice: describe your meal and CalLog estimates it (10 free tries, unlimited with CalLog Pro) ■ Goals that fit you Your daily calorie and PFC goals are set from your sex, age, height, weight, activity level and pace. The PFC split follows the Dietary Reference Intakes for Japanese (2025). CalLog Pro adds a body-make course (more protein) and a low-salt course. ■ Your real calorie burn Formulas only give the average for people of your size. CalLog works out how many calories your body actually burns from your food and weight logs, and suggests weekly goal updates (CalLog Pro). ■ Karo-chan cheers you on Every time you log, Karo-chan reacts to your meal and your streak. Went over today? Log it anyway. CalLog never scolds you. ■ Friends Connect with friends by invite link or QR code and send each other cheer stamps. Free. ■ Your records stay in your iCloud Meals, weight and My Meals are saved on your iPhone and in your own iCloud, so they come back after a device change or reinstall with the same Apple ID. ■ Pricing Free: photo scan and text/voice logging (10 each), quick entry, food database, barcode, daily totals for calories and PFC, weight trend, friends, widgets.
