# Beautiful Math vs Source

The clearest difference is update cadence: Source at every 3 weeks against Beautiful Math's every 2 months. Source also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Beautiful Math sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Source sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Beautiful Math ships an update every 2 months, Source every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
