# BratVPN vs CheapVPN

The clearest difference is ads: BratVPN at none against CheapVPN's shown. CheapVPN's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BratVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and CheapVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BratVPN ships an update every 6 weeks, CheapVPN fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
