# BratVPN vs iovpn

The clearest difference is update cadence: iovpn at daily against BratVPN's every 6 weeks. BratVPN's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BratVPN sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and iovpn sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BratVPN ships an update every 6 weeks, iovpn daily. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
