# SOTA Log vs Stolo Systems

The clearest difference is rating: SOTA Log at 5.0 against Stolo Systems's 4.7. Stolo Systems's advantage is ratings volume (10 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SOTA Log holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stolo Systems has 10 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.
