# ScrollLecture vs Clavis

The clearest difference is ads: Clavis at none against ScrollLecture's shown. Clavis also leads on iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.2). ScrollLecture's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScrollLecture sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Clavis sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScrollLecture ships an update weekly, Clavis every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 8, 2026.
