# 990prep vs Aim990

The clearest difference is update cadence: Aim990 at every 4 days against 990prep's every 9 days. 990prep's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 990prep sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $44.99 per month and Aim990 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

990prep ships an update every 9 days, Aim990 every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
