# Terraforge vs Alchemy Lab

The clearest difference is ads: Terraforge at none against Alchemy Lab's shown. Terraforge also leads on ratings volume (25 vs 1) and iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.2). Alchemy Lab's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Terraforge sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Alchemy Lab sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Alchemy Lab holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Terraforge has 25 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Terraforge ships an update every 3 weeks, Alchemy Lab weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
