# Chorus Reader vs Readify AI

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Readify AI at none against Chorus Reader's 1. Readify AI also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and ratings volume (89 vs 2). Chorus Reader's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 92%). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Chorus Reader sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Readify AI asks for nothing beyond the download.

Readify AI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Readify AI has 89 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Chorus Reader's written reviews are positive against 92% of Readify AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
