# IntervalFree vs HIIT Block

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: IntervalFree at none against HIIT Block's 2. IntervalFree also leads on ratings volume (23 vs 2). HIIT Block's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HIIT Block sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. IntervalFree asks for nothing beyond the download.

HIIT Block holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IntervalFree has 23 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
