# ScrollTax vs BlockRot

ScrollTax and BlockRot both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of ScrollTax's written reviews are positive against 62% of BlockRot's. BlockRot's advantage is update cadence (daily vs weekly) and ratings volume (514 vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ScrollTax sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and BlockRot sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for ScrollTax against 4.7 for BlockRot. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BlockRot has 514 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of ScrollTax's written reviews are positive against 62% of BlockRot's.

ScrollTax ships an update weekly, BlockRot daily. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
