# SuppTracker vs Self Researcher

The clearest difference is update cadence: Self Researcher at weekly against SuppTracker's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SuppTracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Self Researcher sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SuppTracker ships an update fortnightly, Self Researcher weekly. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
