# Timely vs Project Planner

The clearest difference is update cadence: Timely at every 2 weeks against Project Planner's every 2 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timely sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Project Planner sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Timely ships an update every 2 weeks, Project Planner every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
