# TRYON vs Lapel

The clearest difference is ads: Lapel at none against TRYON's shown. TRYON's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 18.0). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TRYON sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $10.00 per month and Lapel sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TRYON ships an update fortnightly, Lapel every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
