# Nova Sling vs WordEtris

The clearest difference is ads: Nova Sling at none against WordEtris's shown. WordEtris's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Nova Sling ships an update every 3 months, WordEtris fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
