# UnblockPiP vs Subscription Manager

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Subscription Manager at 67% against UnblockPiP's 17%. Subscription Manager also leads on ads (none vs shown). UnblockPiP's advantage is monetization model (free vs freemium) and rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UnblockPiP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Subscription Manager sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

UnblockPiP holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 4 and 6 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 17% of UnblockPiP's written reviews are positive against 67% of Subscription Manager's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UnblockPiP ships an update every 9 days, Subscription Manager fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
