# Mandala Maker vs IrisFold

The clearest difference is update cadence: Mandala Maker at every 10 days against IrisFold's every 6 weeks. Mandala Maker also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mandala Maker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and IrisFold sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Mandala Maker ships an update every 10 days, IrisFold every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
