# BillHive vs SplitPal

The clearest difference is update cadence: BillHive at every 3 days against SplitPal's every 8 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BillHive sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SplitPal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BillHive ships an update every 3 days, SplitPal every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 3, 2026 respectively.
