# QuickArray vs Basketball Journal

The clearest difference is update cadence: Basketball Journal at every 3 days against QuickArray's every 3 weeks. Basketball Journal also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. QuickArray sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Basketball Journal sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

QuickArray ships an update every 3 weeks, Basketball Journal every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
