# LinkKeep vs Snapnote

The clearest difference is ads: LinkKeep at none against Snapnote's shown. LinkKeep also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and device support (3 vs 1). Snapnote's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LinkKeep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Snapnote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LinkKeep ships an update fortnightly, Snapnote every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
