# LinkKeep vs GoodNote

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: GoodNote at 17.0 against LinkKeep's 26.0. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LinkKeep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and GoodNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LinkKeep ships an update fortnightly, GoodNote every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
