# GPS Tracker vs MapsOn

The clearest difference is update cadence: MapsOn at every 2 days against GPS Tracker's weekly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GPS Tracker sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and MapsOn sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
