# TextBack vs SpeechBee

The clearest difference is ads: TextBack at none against SpeechBee's shown. SpeechBee's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs weekly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TextBack sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and SpeechBee sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $9.00 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TextBack ships an update weekly, SpeechBee every 3 days. Both last shipped on October 31, 2026.
