# ContactExport+ vs Shift

The clearest difference is ads: Shift at none against ContactExport+'s shown. Shift also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ContactExport+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Shift sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ContactExport+ ships an update every 5 weeks, Shift fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
