# Lover's Scratch vs Mellow Blocks

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lover's Scratch at daily against Mellow Blocks's every 6 weeks. Lover's Scratch also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lover's Scratch sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mellow Blocks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lover's Scratch ships an update daily, Mellow Blocks every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
