# F101 vs Apex

The clearest difference is ads: Apex at none against F101's shown. F101's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. F101 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Apex sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

F101 ships an update every 9 days, Apex every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
