# Orbit vs Mortality

The clearest difference is update cadence: Orbit at every 9 days against Mortality's every 3 weeks. Orbit also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Mortality sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Orbit ships an update every 9 days, Mortality every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
