# Orbit vs Whengram

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Whengram at none against Orbit's 1. Orbit's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Orbit sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whengram asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Orbit against 5.0 for Whengram. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Orbit has 11 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Orbit ships an update every 9 days, Whengram every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
