# Rescript vs Lingered Still

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lingered Still at every 5 days against Rescript's every 3 months. Rescript's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rescript sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Lingered Still sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rescript ships an update every 3 months, Lingered Still every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
