# OpenCody vs Xenition

The clearest difference is update cadence: Xenition at weekly against OpenCody's fortnightly. Xenition also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OpenCody sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Xenition sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

OpenCody ships an update fortnightly, Xenition weekly. Both last shipped on October 28, 2026.
