# First Step vs Foremind

The clearest difference is device support: Foremind at 4 against First Step's 2. Foremind also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. First Step sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Foremind sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

First Step ships an update fortnightly, Foremind every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
